It's reasonably near your house, and it might even be better from down
in the creekbed, where natives probably walked and looked up at the
hillside. Here's how you get there:<br>
<br>
Look at this map:<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&om=1&ll=32.602072,-116.686907&spn=0.049168,0.077763&z=14">http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&om=1&ll=32.602072,-116.686907&spn=0.049168,0.077763&z=14</a><br>
<br>
Go down to Barrett Junction, pass the Cafe.<br>
Turn on the 3rd Barrett Smith Rd. You can also turn at the second one,
the one at the 94 marker on the map.<br>
But starting at the third one, go back down to the second loop that
sticks out to the right. You'll stop right there and look up at the
mountain across the way. I think it may be even more dramatic from in
the creekbed, so you and Wick might want to hike in to see what you can
find.<br>
